4 out of 5 starsThe actual print is lovely! My only small thing is it would be a lot easier to print from an online printing service if it was any other format than .pdf. However I did know this when I bought it so no surprises! If you can work with that, you'll get a great quality product.

A snapshot from our wedding tables, with my favorite faux gold foil menus tucked into guest's linen napkins.
How my own DIY wedding spawned an Etsy shop
When my fiance proposed in 2015, my mind immediately started spinning with the excitement of wedding planning, but it wasn't long before the costs of all my lovely ideas started adding up.
While I longed for custom signage, place card calligraphy and gold-accented menus, I couldn't stomach the steep prices that accompanied these paper products for our 200-person guest count. If I could figure out a way to DIY most of our paper necessities, I reasoned, then I could invest those unused dollars into projects outside of my realm of familiarity - gorgeous florals and extra-special bridal party gifts.
Born out of eagerness and designed for my own wedding day, the templates that I sell on Etsy were created to be as simple as possible. With a bit of time and some inexpensive (but luxurious feeling!) cardstock from the local craft shop, you can create beautiful looking wedding menus, place cards, signs and more - and all for pennies! Truly.
I adore how my wedding decorations turned out, but what makes me feel best is being able to offer other brides and party planners these affordable templates (and now, frame-ready art downloads!) that are easy to edit, perfectly printable, and add an extra element of luxe sophistication to any table.
After all, we're big on smart, savvy and sophisticated solutions :)

Frequently asked questions
Can I print my template at home?
Yes! Our templates are created for use with at-home printers using 8.5×11″ letter-sized paper. Many of our templates include designs (faux gold foil and marble, for example) that will print to “look” like actual gold foil and marble.
If you’re uncomfortable printing at home, I recommend using FedEx Office or your local Staples store, both of which allow you to upload your files online, and simply pick up in the store. (When ordering, I recommend upgrading to 110-lb cardstock print-outs.)
What type of paper should I use?
My favorite option is white 110-lb cardstock, which can be picked up at your local craft shop (use these links to Joann Fabrics or Michaels or Amazon) for less than $10 for 100 sheets.
How should I cut my templates after printing?
If you’ve got steady hands, go ahead and use scissors. Most of our templates include pale guidelines to help you find your cut marks.
I rely on a paper trimmer like this one by Fiskars, which makes life even easier by providing clean, straight lines for multi-sheet projects. (Don’t forget to use a Michael’s or Joann coupon for 40 or 50% off your purchase!)
What is the best way to fold my folded place cards?
If you’re working on folded place cards or other templates that require folding, I suggest picking up an inexpensive scoring board and craft bone tool, which use grooves in a measured board to help you create clean, straight folding scores. I use this one by Martha Stewart. (Don’t forget to use a Michael’s or Joann coupon for 40 or 50% off your purchase!)
Will I be able to edit the headers even if the font is not on my computer?
Our templates are created to offer unique fonts and designs that can't be found on most computers; that's what makes them so special and lovely! For that reason, headers (like "menu") are not editable. Most use fonts that we have purchased specifically for design use.
The beauty of this approach is that you can use ANY font on your computer to customize the editable portions of your template. I like crisp, clean sans serif fonts (like Arial) paired with a nice cursive-style font (like Signature).
If you're looking for something more fanciful, I suggest visiting FontSquirrel.com, where you can download and install several FREE fonts onto your computer. ("Blackjack" is one of my favorites!)
