When you shop with me, I always include some Werther's Originals in your package. And not just *some* Werther's. The magic number is THREE for a reason! Let me tell you a tale: my grandparents used to live in the backwoods of Montana, in a tiny town that literally, even now, doesn't have a grocery store or a gas station. You gotta go a town over. The mountains spear up into the sky in all directions & the enormous Clark Fork River runs just across the street from the house. Their little cottage sits in a trio of buildings, with the garage & the log cabin they first built when they got the land. It's hard to describe the freedom & wildness gifted to me & my sisters in those years of visiting them. We ran (or off-road golf carted) though the acres & acres of deep woods for hours, our imaginations given wings. It was Heaven. But before we went out to adventure, each & every time, my late grandfather would give us 'a Supply' which is three Werther's in your pocket as a little stash. He ALWAYS had three Werther's in his shirt pocket. He'd have to scoot his suspender strap out of the way to reach in for one. And when he needed a refill, he's call for somebody to get him 'a Supply'. And that memory is so special to me, I can't NOT share it with this business that I pour my heart into. SO. Enjoy your Supply. It means I love you.
