RE-ENGINEERED by: k8 is a personal brand I started right before graduating with my Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Florida. I grew up wearing hand-me-downs and often had to tailor clothes myself.

In college, I started making my own tailgating outfits and upcycling friends’ old clothes to give back to them as new pieces. By senior year, I started selling my work at local artisanal markets around Gainesville and have been passionate about it ever since.

The brand focuses on creating sustainable clothing through recycling and redesigning existing material. This results in unique one-of-one pieces that highlight original style while helping reduce clothing waste for the environment.

Re-Engineered is devoted to reworking the fashion industry by limiting our consumption of new clothing and instead finding the beauty in what already exists.
