I’m Elizabeth, I wear ALL of the hats here at Stripes & Roses Handmade.

My fiber arts journey began in my early childhood, when I spent hours learning how to cross-stitch and embroider with my mother, grandmother and aunts. When I became a young mother, my love for cross-stitching and embroidery allowed me to create gifts for the people I loved while on a limited budget.

Fast forward 20 years or so. I learned to weave, crochet and macrame all within a 6 month period. I became INSPIRED and Stripes & Roses Handmade was born.

My fiber arts collections are a true reflection of my personal style. The designs are simple, cozy and classic in timeless neutrals paired with just enough color to make life interesting.

I am based in Redmond, Washington (just east of Seattle). I live with my husband Corey, our 2 youngest kids (aged 13 and 11) and Koki, our tuxedo kitty. I also have an adult daughter and a stepdaughter (who is a freshman in college). My favorite beverages are coffee, water and wine (not necessarily in that order) and, when I’m not in my yarn office, you can typically find me on the couch with a lap full of yarn watching sports or The Golden Girls.
