Do you make complete beds including side rails and footboards?

I do not make complete beds at this time.

Can I have my headboard built to a specific height?

55" is the the standard height of my headboards. Heights can be constructed to your specific needs upon request; additional charges apply to increase the height. Please contact me for a quote. Due to shipping dimension restrictions, the maximum overall height is 62" (including the legs). King size headboards 56" - 62" are required to be shipped via LTL and shipping rates are exponentially higher than standard carrier rates.

Do you sell additional fabric yardage?

Yes! Please contact me for availability and pricing. Fabric is available in whole-yard increments only.

Do you make matching bedskirts?

I do not make bedskirts at this time but I do sell additional fabric yardage. Please contact me for availability and pricing.

Can I attach the headboard to my wooden or platform bed frame?

Although I typically make my headboards to attach to standard metal bed frames, in most cases, I can modify made-to-order headboards to attach to your bed frame. To make sure the headboard's point of attachment is correct, I will need you to supply specific measurements and pictures of your bed frame. Additional charges may apply.

What materials are used on the inside of the headboard?

WOOD FRAMING - I construct my frames using a combination of standard plywood and and kiln-dried pine framing wood.

UPHOLSTERY FOAM - I use a 1" medium density polyurethane foam. The foam is not treated with fire retardants.

*I do offer a 100% natural latex foam as an alternative to polyurethane foam. The cost of this foam is exponentially higher than polyurethane so please contact me for a quote.

BATTING - I use a thermally bonded 100% polyester batting with a 3/4" loft. Thermal bonding has a low melt fiber blended with standard polyester to hold it together as opposed to a resin bonding which is made from a variety of fibers including polyester, cotton, and wool with resin applied to both sides then dried and cured.

What is the best way to clean my headboard?

The fabrics that I typically use are dry clean only fabrics and using water to clean it is not recommended. There are a couple of different ways to clean and take care of your headboard:

Regular Maintenance - The best way to maintain and keep your headboard dust free is to vacuum it with a brush attachment once or twice a month. If you do that, professional cleaning really shouldn't be necessary unless you had a big spill or stain.

Spot cleaning - If you happen to experience any small stains, use an upholstery fabric cleaner to spot clean and follow their directions.

Professional cleaner - Carpet cleaning companies usually offer upholstery cleaning serves too so I would go that route if you would like to give it a deep cleaning.

Do you work with COM (Customers Own Material)?

I would love to use your fabric for your headboard. All fabric must be at least 54” wide and rated for upholstery use. Continuous yardage only; multiple pieces of material cannot be used. Yardage must be on a bolt and not folded. Please contact me to discuss your fabric and yardage requirements.
