Hey, I’m Matt, the guy behind ShorelineWorks.
I’m a husband, father, and mechanic living in California. A few years back, I was browsing the internet when I stumbled into the world of 3D printing. I got hooked immediately. I loved the inner workings, the mechanics, and the challenge of making something utilizing computer software. That first printer eventually helped me build a CNC machine made almost entirely from 3D-printed parts.

Not long after, I picked up my first laser, and I’ve been obsessed ever since.

A friend recently asked if I could help his small business by making some laser-etched hats. I said yes, and my very first batch of leather patch hats went to him, each of them rocking the BBQ restaurant’s logo. Turns out, I loved the process. There’s something awesome about creating something practical that people wear to express who they are.

And from there… ShorelineWorks was born.
