From lost to found!
Shoulderblade Designs all started with my need for a ring!
When my wife and I got married, we decided to get me a cheap wedding band and luckily we did. I lost that ring. I bought another one, and eventually lost that one too. No matter what I tried, I could never seem to find a ring that fit me just right.
Then one day, I came across a wood ring and thought, I can make that.
So I did and I never stopped.
What started as a simple need for a ring turned into something I truly love and am passionate about.
I am Native American and an enrolled member of the Northern Cheyenne Tribe. I spent many years in foster care as a child and was adopted into a family when I was in third grade. Along the way, I lost much of my connection to my Native culture. Over the past few years, I have been on a journey to reconnect with my heritage, learn more about my culture, and embrace where I come from.
Today, I incorporate elements of my Native culture into my rings through beadwork and sweetgrass. Each piece is a way for me to express my creativity while also honoring and reconnecting with an important part of who I am.
I take a lot of pride in every piece I create. I put my heart into my work and will always do my best to make sure you receive the best ring I can make for you.
I’m learning every single day, improving every single day, and constantly finding new ways to make my work better.
Thank you so much for supporting Shoulderblade Designs and for allowing me to share my work and my story with you. It truly means more than you know!
