A Little About Me
I’m Becca, a contemporary‑fantasy author based in Arizona. I write stories that blend magic, mystery, mythology, and the human experience, drawing on my background in anthropology, psychology, and sociology to build worlds with depth and intention. My love for the outdoors shapes much of my work, and when I’m not writing, you’ll usually find me hiking desert trails, fishing quiet waters, or recharging with my dog at my side. My brand, Signs and Symbols, is an extension of the way I see and create. I design the artwork, concepts, and visual language, and then partner with trusted makers to produce high‑quality physical products.
My passion for storytelling started early. My grandfather, who never had the chance to pursue higher education, taught me to value curiosity and read between the lines. His influence pushed me toward folklore, the paranormal, and cultural mythology, all of which still shape my writing today. Over the years, I’ve also built experience in editing and proofreading through freelance work, which sharpened my craft and strengthened my voice.
Whether I’m writing a novel or creating a new product for my online store, my goal is the same, to build meaningful experiences. I want my work (in any form) to resonate with people, spark curiosity, and offer a fresh perspective.
