Tras muchos años en el sector de los viajes corporativos, Jen decidió dedicarse a tiempo completo a cuidar de su hermosa hija Kira y a ayudar a su esposo Casey a emprender su negocio de diseño gráfico para vehículos. Pronto descubrió que aún necesitaba algo propio, expresar su creatividad y sentir que contribuía a los ingresos familiares.
Empezó haciendo letreros para regalar a amigos y familiares. En 2007, creó Signs by Jen y pronto empezó a venderlos en línea. Los primeros dos años fueron un poco lentos, pero aprendió mucho, añadió muchos más diseños de letreros y convirtió lo que antes llamaba su "pequeño hobby y espacio creativo" en un negocio a tiempo completo.
En 2021, Jen comenzó a alejarse de la fabricación de carteles y finalmente cerró la tienda para dedicarse a otra aventura comercial.
Tras jubilarse de su negocio de gráficos para vehículos en 2025, su esposo Casey decidió tomar las riendas y reactivar el negocio. Aunque Jen sigue siendo conocida como la creadora y propietaria de Signs by Jen, Casey ahora es la creadora y diseñadora de letreros, y su hija Kira se encarga del marketing y los envíos.
After spending many years in the Corporate Travel industry, Jen decided to become a full time stay at home Mom to her beautiful daughter Kira, and to help her husband Casey start up his vehicle graphics business. She soon found she still needed something that she could call her own, express her creative side, and also feel that she was contributing something to her family income.
She started out making signs at first as gifts for friends and family, then in 2007 Signs by Jen was created and she soon begin selling her signs online. It was a slow start those first couple of years but she learned a lot, added many more sign designs, and turned what she used to call her "little hobby & creative outlet" into a full time business.
In 2021, Jen began to stray away from making signs, and eventually closed the shop to pursue another business venture.
After retiring from his vehicle graphics business in 2025, her husband Casey decided to takeover and get this shop back up and running. While Jen is still known as the creator and owner of Signs by Jen, Casey is now the sign maker and designer, and their daughter Kira is the marketer and shipper.
