For me, working with silver is more than just craftsmanship — it’s transformation. Sawing a smooth piece of silver feels like a Zen practice. Melting it with fire and watching it shift from solid to liquid feels like pure alchemy. Much like a Phoenix rising from the ashes, it’s a reminder that transformation is always within reach.
In the 1950s, women bought bright red lipstick to lift their spirits. By the end of the century, it was silver earrings - lots of shiny silver earrings. Somewhere along the way, many of us realized we like to shine on the inside just as much as we do on the outside.
For many, that realization took time. And while it’s true that light doesn’t exist without darkness - the dark is awful. You know you’ve arrived when you understand that shining isn’t something you earn. It’s something you own.
Some days, it shows as a flicker of a smile. Other days, it blazes like an incandescent sun. Either way, it’s yours.
As a recovering perfectionist, I put an absurd amount of thought and care into every Silver Echoes design. High-quality materials and meticulous craftsmanship are at the core of every piece, and every detail is checked. Then checked again.
