All items are made to order. Current production time is 7 business days (this does not include shipping time). Large orders may take a little longer. I will give you an estimated shipping time if longer than 10 business days.

When ordering a custom item, please provide all relevant information in the "notes to seller" box at checkout. If I have any further questions, I will contact you through Etsy within 1 business day. Not responding can delay the shipment of your order. If no response has been received within 14 days, I will use my best judgement to complete your order.

Each item is wrapped in tissue paper inside a kraft paper gift box, ready to give! Each order is mailed in a bubble wrap envelope for additional protection.

Aluminum doesn't cause a skin reaction, doesn't oxidize or tarnish, and is water safe. I do recommend removing rings before washing your hands. Although aluminum is water safe, this can cause the black ink to fade in your hand stamped text and designs.

Brass and copper oxidize to a dark finish. Storing it in a small airtight bag will slow the reaction. You can restore your jewelry to it's original appearance with a jewelry polishing cloth. Brass and copper can cause a skin reaction, turning the skin green. Two tips: 1)Be sure to keep the jewelry clean and free from any sweat or oils. Wipe it with a jewelry polishing cloth before and/or after you wear it. 2)Apply a thin coat of jewelry wax every so often. It will prevent it from tarnishing.

Sterling silver does tarnish over time, but can be cleaned with a jewelry polishing cloth. Storing it in a small airtight bag will slow this reaction. You can apply a thin coat of jewelry wax to your piece. It will prevent it from tarnishing, but it will wear off - so you'll need to reapply every so often. I do recommend removing rings before washing your hands. This can cause the oxidation to fade in your hand stamped text and designs. Some people are allergic metals used in sterling silver; this can cause a skin reaction, turning the skin black. Before ordering a custom item using sterling silver, it is suggested that you test to be sure you are not allergic.

The core metal is sterling silver. A gold (or rose gold) alloy is then bonded with heat and pressure. Unlike plated (aka electroplated or "dipped") metals, Gold-filled is legally required to contain 5% or 1/20 gold by weight. (Gold plating is estimated to be 0.05% or less of the metal product. Gold plating will generally wear off rather quickly and will not stand up to heat, water or wear over time.) Gold-filled does not de-laminate or peel like plated or "dipped" products. Nor does it tarnish as readily as silver. Many owners find that they never have to clean gold-filled items at all. However, from time to time your jewelry may become dirty from everyday wear. To clean gold-filled it is best to use mild soap and water.

All flatware used is vintage silverplate, ranging from 20 to 80 years old, that’s been upcycled to give it new life! I am very careful to select only table-ready silverware; however it may show some signs of wear. Please know that each piece is carefully handpicked by me and will be gorgeous but not brand new.

Every piece is made to order, just for you. The flatware pattern you receive will vary depending on what is in the studio at the time of your order. I do source a wide assortment of styles, so if you have a personal preference (floral, simple, masculine, etc), please let me know in the “note to seller” at checkout and I will choose your perfect piece.

Every piece of my vintage silverware is food safe, and the ink used is dishwasher safe. However, hand-washing is recommended, as the heat of the dishwasher will be harmful to the silver plate. To hand wash, use warm water and gentle dish soap. Soaking the pieces for any length of time is not recommended. Dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.

Should your flatware become tarnished, apply a gentle polish until the item looks clean and shiny. Use a soft cloth to remove any excess polish. Hand wash the piece with warm water and dish soap. Dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.
