I’ve always been interested in making things.
Having had two grandfathers who where both a carpenter and a cabinet maker, I was always messing around with tool boxes and finding out what a certain tool did.
As soon I was old enough, I was hammering nails into a scrap of wood and learning how not to whack my own thumb!
Fast forward “about 40 years” and I find myself with a blank canvas in a new 12’x6’ shed and the desire to build something.
We all know what it’s like to buy a flat pack furniture kit and spend ages working out how those silly little dowel n screw thingys’ go together.
Well, I made a decision there and then.
No more chipboard flat packs!!
I will make my own furniture and cabinets.
I began collecting basic tools and it’s slowly grew from there.
A friend asked to to make a heart with a dogs paw 🐾 on.
She said “You should sell these”
And so my Etsy shop was born.
Now after 17 years as a bus driver I have jumped feet first into making full time.
Focusing on my Etsy store and providing the best experience for all my amazing customers.
Every single sale always feels like the very first to me and I am truly grateful when a new customer comes along and chooses to have something I have made in their home.
I continue to learn new skills to produce desirable items that will be a great addition to any home or garden.
