Determination is the key to success

Hi my name is Lourdes Teves, a mother of eight kids. Originally from the Philippines. I moved in USA last March of 2015 to be with my daughter and my son in law. To help them in taking care of their little one since both my daughter Beth and Her husband Evan are working night shift. It is hard for them to find a regular baby sitter at night. So they decided to petition me.

Now I am here in the USA having a great time with my daughter, my son in law and my handsome grandson. Sometime I got bored and homesick so my daughter decided to open a shop for me here in Etsy.com, so I have something to work while they are working and while the baby is sleeping.

I am so happy that I have this shop. I explore my knowledge in crafting. I know how to sew clothes, curtains, the basic of crochet,and origami. Through the support of my daughter, I enhanced my knowledge in origami and crochet. My daughter is very supportive to me. I will continue to gain knowledge as I explore the handmade business with the support and help of my daughter.
