Bienvenidos a Recycle Vintage Studio, cuya misión va más allá de la simple venta de artículos. Mi objetivo es fomentar el supraciclaje, la reutilización y el reciclaje de materiales domésticos y naturales. Tanto si me compras como si no, espero que te inspires al ver formas creativas de reutilizar diversos materiales. Si me compras, empaco con cuidado y envío casi a diario, así que recibirás tus artículos rápidamente y en las condiciones que esperas. Además, envío principalmente con materiales reciclados.

La mayoría de mis anuncios actuales se basan en reservas de cosas reciclables que tengo en casa, especialmente computadoras, celulares y otros aparatos electrónicos pequeños rotos. (Puede que mi esposo me haya llamado acaparadora, y puede que tenga razón, o no). En Recycled Vintage Studio, vendo algunos de mis materiales acumulados para que los reutilices (o los supracicles, o antes de que se acuñara el término supraciclaje, simplemente lo llamábamos reciclaje).

Crecí en una familia de diseñadores, artesanos y artistas, así que también vendo algunas de sus creaciones vintage y sus libros de arte y manualidades vintage. (No se preocupen, tengo suficientes creaciones suyas en casa para recordarlas). También vendo cosas que he hecho a lo largo de los años, pero que no he usado, porque hago más cosas de las que realmente necesito: cajas de madera con decoupage, bolsos, joyas, arte. De vez en cuando, también vendo cosas hechas a mano que encuentro en tiendas de segunda mano; me encanta ver cómo las artesanías desechadas de otras personas reciben el reconocimiento que merecen. Siguiendo mi temática reciclada, utilizo casi en su totalidad materiales de embalaje reciclados (muchos amigos de la zona guardan sus embalajes para mí). Sé que a los compradores de Etsy les gustan los embalajes bonitos, y estoy intentando añadir algunos detalles bonitos a mis embalajes, pero mis prioridades siguen siendo (1) embalar los artículos de forma segura para su envío y (2) reutilizar los materiales de embalaje a mi disposición, en lugar de comprar materiales de embalaje nuevos y más sofisticados para los artículos que vendo en Etsy.

Welcome to Recycle Vintage Studio, which has a mission beyond simply selling stuff. My goal is to encourage up-cycling, re-use, or recycling of household and natural materials. Whether or not you buy anything from me, I hope you are inspired by seeing creative ways to re-use various materials. If you do buy from me, I pack carefully and ship almost every day, so you should get your items fast and in the condition you expect. I ship with mostly recycled materials as well.

Most of my current listings are based on stockpiles of recyclable things I have in my house - especially broken computers, cell phones, and other small electronics. (My husband may or may not have called me a hoarder, and he may or may not be right.) In Recycled Vintage Studio, I am selling some of my stockpiled materials for you to re-use (or up-cycle, or in the old days before the phrase up-cycling was coined, we just called it recycling).

I grew up in a family of designers, crafters, and artists, so I am also selling some of their vintage creations, and their vintage art and craft books. (Don't worry, I have enough of their creations left in my home to remember them by.) Also selling things that I have made over the years, but haven't used, because I make more stuff than I actually need: decoupaged wooden boxes, handbags, jewelry, art. Occasionally, I also sell handmade things that I find at secondhand stores; I love to see other peoples' discarded handiwork get the appreciation it deserves. In keeping with my recycled theme, I use almost entirely recycled packaging materials (lots of friends in the area save their packaging for me.) I know Etsy shoppers like pretty packaging, and I am trying to add some pretty flourishes to my packaging, but my priorities are still (1) packing your items safely and securely for shipment and (2) re-using the packing materials at my disposal, instead of buying new and fancier packaging materials for items I sell on Etsy.
