SimpleSignDesigns

Hi there! My name is Amanda Kirchner, and I'm the owner of Simple Sign Designs, LLC. I am 29 years old, born and raised in New Jersey. My husband and I are high school sweethearts, and have been each other's biggest supporters since day one. We are also expecting our first child in May 2020!

Interestingly enough, I was never into art growing up, and considered myself creatively challenged. I was heavily into sports my whole life, and graduated from Rider University in 2012. I pursued a career in the education field right out of college, and was a preschool teacher for 5 years. In 2015 my husband and I bought our first home, and I instantly fell in love with all things home decor, and everything rustic and farmhouse style. I found myself buying signs to decorate with around our house, and I was noticing that the quality of signs from big box stores were cheap and poorly made. I began to shop around on Etsy, and started ordering some handmade decor from small shops instead.

I fell in love with the quality and craftsmanship that I saw in these products, and wondered if I could make something myself. After much trial and error, I finally perfected the art of making a sign from start to finish. I was so proud that I was able to make something with my own two hands, and eventually decided to open my own shop! So in August 2017, Simple Sign Designs was born! It has been such a wonderful experience so far owning my own business, and I am so very grateful to all my kind customers who I have worked with along the way. Thank you for shopping with us!
