How Simple Treasures Came to Be
I was walking along the sidewalk, on my way to my part time job at the St. James School Cafeteria. Something brought my eyes focus and attention to a small treasure on the ground. I found a ring sitting under a dusting of debris from someone's fresh mowed lawn. I picked it up and saw that it was handmade. I had never seen a wire ring before. It was silver, with three small light green beads hugged tightly together. This was my inspiration.
I love handmade things, and was so happy to find something so interesting and new to me. I was even more excited to find that it fit my finger perfectly! Only just a little loose, but when you want something so badly your mind makes it fit! Right?!
I remember studying the ring, following one end of the wire, curving every which way till I got to the other end, trying to see just how this unique unknown artist created something so lovely.
I am now continuing this unknown artist's works. Through my research and teaching myself to make these wire rings, I have seen many very beautiful variations from others. Apparently these have existed for quite some time I have just never known.
I want to share with you these Simple Treasures, and make them unique to you!
