Love the weight of the lava sand vs my flax seed ones! They don't seem to get as hot in my heat box, but the heat definitely lasts a ton longer! Added 1 week after: OMGosh! The best thing about the weight of the lava sand is I can move my leg and the bag stays right where it is placed not like my flax seed ones so no readjusting the bag when readjusting in bed to go to sleep! Big winner 🏆

Oven Directions for Lava Pack

You can put the Lava pack on a cookie sheet and heat it in an oven that has been preheated to 200 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes.

Directions to heat Lava pack in air fryer

Place your Lava pack in the air fryer and set the time to 10 minutes and the temperature to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Flip the Lava pack halfway through. This will allow you to get a nice even heating of the Lava pack. Be Careful as the bag will be hot, so use tongs or oven mitts to turn it over.

Directions to heat Lava Pack in pressure cooker or instant pot

You can also heat up your Lava pack in a pressure cooker or instant pot. Put a cup of water in the bottom of the instant pot. Then you put the stand in the instant pot that will raise the Lava pack above the water. After that, place your Lava pack on top of the stand. Then set your instant pot to pressure cooker for 5 minutes. After the 5 minutes are up, release the pressure and take out your Lavabag (use tongs or oven mitts to take it out).
