2 out of 5 starsMaria is kind, communicates in a timely manner and was willing to make me a custom box. I saw a ginko print box on her page that I liked, but it was too small for my needs. She said she could make a larger version, to which I agreed. The larger box is in fact the same color and with the same ginkgo print; however, it did not have henges similar to the reference box I first asked about and most notably, the wood on the box is really thin - unlike the first one I asked about. Think Ikea furniture flimsy. I have my doubts it will stand the test of time for my particular needs. I held on to the packaging material, and asked Maria if I could return the box. I offered to cover the cost of return shipping. She said she'd only take it back for 30%! I get that it was a custom order, but she sells boxes in general. I'm disappointed.

Custom and personalized orders
Regarding personalized and custom orders: unfortunately full refunds will not be applicable. I want all customers of Simply Severance to be happy and return to the shop!
However, if you have contacted me about a custom piece/order, I meet every single specification/request, take the time to create this piece, invest money into the project, as well as get a go ahead on progress pictures before the item is ever fully purchased (as I do with all custom orders), and there is a requested return; I unfortunately cannot accept a full refund. I am a small business owner trying my best. I am extremely reasonable and if you’re unhappy with your order I will be more than happy to give you a refund of 30% of the purchase price!
