Empecé a hacer mis propias pastillas de champú como un paso personal hacia un estilo de vida más natural y para reducir el uso de plástico en mi día a día. Quería algo sencillo, eficaz y libre de ingredientes innecesarios.
Lo que empezó como un pequeño cambio personal pronto se convirtió en algo más. Tras ver lo bien que funcionaban estas barritas, pensé que a otros también les podrían gustar. Fue entonces cuando decidí empezar a compartirlas y abrí mi tienda en Etsy.
El nombre Simply Swoosie proviene de un nombre que significa mucho para mí. Mis nietos me llaman "Swoosie", y es un nombre que realmente amo y aprecio. Cuando pensé en crear mi marca, supe que quería combinar ese nombre especial con algo que reflejara mi estilo de vida: más sencillo y con menos desperdicio.
Así nació Simply Swoosie. Añadí "Natural Bath and Body" para que los demás supieran exactamente lo que creo: productos sencillos y naturales elaborados con esmero.
Cada barra que elaboro refleja ese objetivo original: vivir de forma más sencilla, reducir los residuos y compartir algo significativo con los demás.
I started making my own shampoo bars as a personal step toward living more naturally and reducing plastic in my everyday life. I wanted something simple, effective, and free from unnecessary ingredients.
What began as a small change for myself quickly turned into something more. After seeing how well these bars worked, I thought others might enjoy them too. That’s when I decided to start sharing them—and opened my Etsy shop.
The name Simply Swoosie comes from a name that means so much to me. My grand-babies call me “Swoosie,” and it’s a name I truly love and cherish. When I was thinking about creating my brand, I knew I wanted to pair that special name with something that reflected the way I was choosing to live—more simply and with less waste.
That’s how Simply Swoosie was born. I added “Natural Bath and Body” so others would know exactly what I create: simple, natural products made with care.
Each bar I make reflects that original goal—living simpler, reducing waste, and sharing something meaningful with others.
