Leaving the Corporate World Behind
For the past many years, I have crafted in some form or another - sewing, needlework, scrapbooks, card making, felt painting, etc. My dream has been to devote much of my time to crafting, however, sometimes life doesn't let you do what you want. I worked, raised my children, was the taxi driver for their many activities, as well as all those other things, that are necessary every day.
So when I started to figure out when I could retire and what I was going to do with my time, there was no hesitation - crafting was the answer.
In 2004, I was introduced to stamps and ink and needless to say I have never looked back. For 5 years, I have been a demonstrator with Stampin' Up! so use these high quality products for crafting.
I can say the creating cards and scrapbook pages and just about anything else that involves paper, stamps and ink have become my passion.
As I was designing and creating greeting cards, a number of people asked me to create custom cards. It was this request that lead to open my Etsy Shop in October 2013.
