I waited till my dress came back from the tailors since everything fit except the back. About 4 inches won't zip. ( Always an issue with me. Perfect to find a front that fits. First tried it on I felt like a pretty pretty princess after getting it resized I still feel that way.

We had shipping issues but it was not Carrie’s fault. (I scored it a 5 star rating because I didn’t want it to reflect poorly on her). If anything, Carrie was extremely proactive and kind. Unfortunately “priority “ didn’t mean high priority to USPS, but due to Carrie’s sensitivity to the issue and generosity, I will maintain this shop as a priority business when I need items for the future.

Simprov orgins: Act 1 of my retirement

I created Simprov after retiring from many years of teaching public school. Simprov is the words: sewing improvisations. In drama, improvisations are where actors made up lines on the spur of the moment. The magic can really happen on stage. With Simprov, I wanted to unleash my creativity and share that with the world!
I want you - my buyer- to feel like an actor in one of productions. You will feel like a star when you wear one of my unique creations. You will be in the spotlight!
I also am very passionate about fashion sustainability. In the theatre, we reuse everything from show to show. I spent countless hours thrifting to create costumes on a dime. Now I can use those same skills to make fabulous ready to wear fashion!
Right now, I am having fun sewing, thrifting and creating. Please support me in this endeavor!
