This was 100x better in person than any online image could show. Incredible detail and very good quality. You can't go wrong purchasing anything from this store.

About

Love of painting + active toddlers = watercolor mini-art!

I started with finger paints as a toddler, and have loved to paint and create ever since. Now that I have toddlers of my own, it's tricky--if not impossible--to finish any major art projects. But like any of life's challenges, this one brought new opportunities. I had to find a medium that I could work with for 5 minutes here and there between the needs of my children--something that wouldn't be ruined if I let the paints dry out, and that would easily wash off of curious little hands, or off of floors when I let them paint with mommy. I found the perfect medium for this new phase, and my love for watercolors was born and nurtured. Miniature art was the next obvious choice for me; I could start and finish a project during a rare and precious time they call "nap".

I love every single one of my creations, and sometimes I even give them a little silent (OK, out loud) sendoff, wishing them well on their journey to their new state or country. I hope you love them as much as I do, and if you don't see your favorite, I will be happy to paint it for you.

Frequently asked questions

Care instructions

Watercolor Jewelry set under glass:

-My watercolor jewelry is splash/rain-resistant but should be dried immediately to prevent possible water damage to the miniature painting.

-Do not leave pieces flat in direct sunlight for several hours as the glass can work as a magnifier for heat and cause damage to the painting. Wearing the jewelry on a sunny day is totally fine!

For original mini or full-sized watercolor paintings:

-Remove paintings from frames before cleaning the frame to avoid water seeping onto the painting, or clean frames with a dry cloth

-I use light-fast paints and archival paper, but if a painting will be hung where it will receive direct sunlight on a regular basis, UV-blocking glass is recommended.
