Over two years ago I started learning to crochet as a hobby during my mental health leave from school and I’ve fallen in love with it ever since. As an alternative person I’ve always been a huge fan of DIY fashion! I’ve up-cycled thrifted clothes and sometimes made jewelry for myself since 2020, but I realized not a lot of alternative fashion consists of crochet. The medium itself does counteract against fast fashion and overconsumption, so it seems pretty punk to me…Drawing and illustration, however, has been a lifelong passion for me. I currently in school for illustration and I hope to turn it into a full-time career one day. I’ve been vending for only less than a year, so I’m still trying to figure out my “brand” as an artist. Regardless, I’ve still been having a very lovely journey! 💜
