Items with "READY TO SHIP" in the title are completed items. All Ready to Ship items are listed on the site. Since they are handmade, there are no extras or other colors in the back room.

Items with "MADE TO ORDER" in the title, require your measured sizes and 1-4 weeks lead time. Depending on orders, lead time is normally much less.
I will be adding some new items, but they are focused on GAOP (1690-1725) timeframe.

Fabric is prewashed and machine dried prior to assembly to minimize shrinkage of final garment. Linen shrinks extensively the first time.
Hemp is not washed and should only be handwashed in cold water

Sizes larger than the offered sizes: CONTACT ME BEFORE ORDER. I need to create a private custom listing and price for you! There will be additional charges for material and labor. Linen is $20+ yard and I reserve the right to refuse very large sizes.

MADE TO ORDER: No cancellations/returns. If an item doesnt fit, and i made the mistake, I will fix it. If you supplied inaccurate measurements, you pay shipping both ways and rework charges. Measurements are NOT standard modern sizes, but they are easy to measure.

READY TO SHIP: I accept exchanges only for like items that are in stock such as shirts and slops.

If you need something before a specific date, contact me BEFORE purchase. I will tell you if I can do it, otherwise it will be completed in order of purchase. Not responsible for shipping times.

I normally ship USPS Priority (padded envelope or medium box) and do not ship outside the continental US (lower 48 states). USPS has been inconsistent at times, so plan ahead.

Captivated by 17th or 18th century history, colonial, soldiers, pyracy or sailors? This is one place dedicated to authentic clothing and related kit. We use the best reproduction patterns known in the hobby. For custom listings we use 100% linen or 100% wool . Sometimes ready-made items may be cotton or a linen blend and offered at discount. We note this in the listing, so you can decide. The pattern is still authentic even if the fabric is not exact (pass the 10 ft rule). Most items incorporate hand stitched button holes and other details. Complete hand stitching available at extra cost.

Custom and personalized orders

yes, on the items I make, weskits, slops, coats. This is a small part-time shop and I can't stock many colors, so requests outside what is in stock takes time to order and receive. Contact me with your needs

Sizing details

For Ready-made items, all measurements are supplied on the listing (in inches). I can supply additional measurements on request. I will require your measurements for custom orders. This includes chest measurement (under arms), waist (at naval), back of neck to wrist (sleeves length), back of neck to crotch for length. These items are not modern sizes, small, med , large etc... and require measurements to fit properly.

Care instructions

All items are hand stitched. As such they should NEVER see the inside of a washing machine. HAND WASH ONLY.

Do you ship outside the U.S.?

No, I don't. I ship USPS Priority mail, simply because waiting in line for special shipping, duties and foreign requirements is near impossible for me.
