Plants are grown in an extremely humid greenhouse under shade. Please unpack your plant immediately upon arrival, and acclimate your plant in a sheltered, shady location for a week or 2 prior to potting up or planting in full sun or a hot dry location. Starter plants need to be watered regularly and need protection from extreme heat, cold, wind and sun until they can acclimate to your climate. They should not be allowed to dry out. Please allow them to acclimate before exposing them to extremes, and transition them to full sun gradually. Unfortunately sometimes deliveries may be delayed or damaged by the carriers. Please be aware that your plants may have been handled roughly, and may have been in transit much longer than expected. If they are wilted upon arrival please water them thoroughly and let them sit for a couple hours. If they do not perk up or if they arrive broken to the point of being dead, then PLEASE SEND US PICTURES OF THE DAMAGED/DEAD PLANT WITHIN 24HRS OF DELIVERY.

WE NEED CLEAR PHOTOS OF THE DAMAGED PLANTS AND BOX WITHIN 24HRS OF THE DELIVERY TIME ACCORDING TO THE TRACKING, AND CANNOT SEND A REFUND OR REPLACEMENT PLANTS UNTIL WE HAVE RECEIVED PHOTOS. NO EXCEPTIONS.

You will receive a starter plant that is well rooted and ready to plant in the ground or to transplant into a larger container. To minimize shipping costs, plants ship in a 2.5” pot.

No, we are not currently certified organic. Because we container grow all our plants for shipping, we currently use traditional liquid and slow release fertilizers on our products. However, at the current time, we only use pesticides labeled for organic use on our Passion Flowers. We spray Neem Oil in our greenhouses regularly to control spider mites. This is the safest, most effective, environmentally friendly method we have found to work. Neem Oil is considered non-toxic to birds, mammals, plants, and bees, and has low residual activity.

We currently use Neem Oil only on our Passion Flowers. We do not spray any other pesticides.

Neem Oil is Organic and is not considered to be toxic to bees or other pollinators as it must be ingested by the target organism. This feature makes it safe for pollinators, but harmful to insect pests.

Neem Oil can harm butterfly larvae if it was recently sprayed on the plants, but it has low residual activity. Because butterfly larvae can defoliate young plants (which will likely kill the plant), we recommend protecting them from caterpillars feeding on them for a couple weeks to allow the plants to establish and any Neem residue to wash off.

We guarantee that they will arrive alive if shipped via USPS Priority. We make NO GUARANTEE BEYOND LIVE ARRIVAL.

We will replace or refund plants that are dead or deemed broken to the point of being dead at our discretion. We will not replace plants that are alive but have a broken branch or are missing a few leaves.

To qualify for replacement or refund we require that you send us PHOTOS OF THE DAMAGED PLANT WITHIN 24 HOURS OF DELIVERY as per the tracking. Please send us a picture of the whole plant, the damaged portions, and the damaged packaging if applicable. We cannot replace or refund plants without a clear photo of the damage.
