The first Christmas after my husband and I got married, my desire was to have a stocking that resembled my childhood one - and all the happy memories it brought with it - but also wanted to establish new memories, traditions, and blend with our eclectic decor. So I tracked down the original pattern from my aunt and went from there creating two beautiful and truly unique stockings that mirror our individual personalities and preferences.

A couple years later, I did the same for a family friend who was here celebrating the holiday far from her family in Russia. I had such a great time once again choosing fabrics and colors that echoed the individual - and weren't necessarily what you would expect to see on a stocking! I began seeing unexpected fabric pairings everywhere! The possibilities were endless!

And so, with an emphasis on unique, one-of-a-kind, handcrafted beauty, Snowflake Stockings was born....because, like snowflakes, no two people are alike!
