I grew up in an 1860s Victorian house in the Midwest and always went to estate auctions and garage sales with my mother. My father obsessively collected toasters, art nouveau prints, and corduroy shirts. I've always loved the idea of having something you couldn't just go out and buy anywhere. I was dragging home bags of vintage clothing before I could drive and it just escalated from there. I love jewelry. My personal collection ranges from Victorian to mid century and I have an unexplained fixation with gold & pearls. I love finding treasures and thinking "This is perfect for Etsy!"
