The path that led me to SoapyLayne
My name is Cassie, I am the heart + hands behind everything that is SoapyLayne. I have a BIG love for all things, natural, organic and eco-friendly. I am an artist, plant enthusiast and avid animal lover who lives in beautiful Southern California.
My years of experience at work in an animal hospital helped me realized the importance of creating cruelty-free products that are also safe for the environment. With the growing move towards natural and organic products, consumers (like myself) have become more aware of the benefits of using plants based natural skin care products that do not contain use of harmful ingredients or preservatives. I believe that natural products tend to work and smell better than synthetic, mass-produced products.
I create handmade products with intention to reconnect ourselves back with nature using a variety of organic ingredients created by our mother earth. We use gentle plant based materials with magical properties which lack any harmful additives or preservatives. All products are made in small batches to ensure the freshest item possible.
Each ingredient used is carefully selected with a focus on highest quality possible while being sustainability foraged. I seek ingredients from reputable certified organic farms and also gather herbs from my own personal medicinal garden. I use a variety of eco-friendly options to package each of my items and strive to ensure they are reusable and/or biodegradable. I do not include invoices to help reduce our carbon footprint and package most of my products in glass, which is not only beautiful but reusable and easy to recycle.
I am currently a student in The Science & Art of Herbalism by the AMAZING Rosemary Gladstar and hope to open my own botanical shop one day.
