Hi, I’m Jamie. The heart, hands, and messy desk behind Soft Mess Studio Co.

I’m a solo mom to twin toddlers, a kindergarten teacher of over a decade, and a lifelong believer in telling the real stories. The ones with equal parts joy and chaos.

Soft Mess Studio Co. was born from my own journey navigating motherhood, congenital heart defect (CHD) advocacy, and the NICU, all while building a life based in honesty, creativity, and connection. Here you’ll find heartfelt, thoughtfully designed tools and printables, from CHD/NICU milestone and reflection cards to toddler-friendly charts and teacher resources.

Everything here is created with lived experience, empathy, and the hope that it meets you right where you are. Whether that’s in the middle of a hospital stay, celebrating a small win at home, or finding ways to make the hard days a little lighter.
