SoftProof Privacy Policy

1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how SoftProof (“I”, “me”, “my”, or “SoftProof”) collects, uses, and shares information when you purchase an item from my Etsy shop, contact me, or otherwise interact with my shop through Etsy and its related services.
This policy does not apply to third parties that I do not own or control, including Etsy and other service providers. Those parties have their own privacy policies governing how they collect and use personal information.
I may update this policy from time to time and will revise the date above when changes are made.
2. Information I Collect
To fulfill your order and provide customer support, I receive certain information that Etsy makes available to me, such as your name, email address, shipping address, order details, and other information necessary to fulfill and support your purchase.
If you contact me directly, you may provide additional personal information in your message.
I do not collect or store your full payment card information. Payments made through Etsy are processed through Etsy’s payment systems.
3. Why I Use Your Information
I use personal information only as necessary to:

I may share necessary information with trusted service providers involved in fulfilling your order, including:
* Etsy — to operate the marketplace, process orders and payments, and provide Etsy’s services
* Printify and its fulfillment partners — to produce and fulfill your order and arrange shipment
* Shipping carriers — to deliver your order
* Legal or regulatory authorities — when disclosure is required by applicable law or reasonably necessary to protect legal rights
Printify may process customer information on my behalf when fulfilling orders. Printify’s current data-processing terms describe Printify as a processor when it processes merchant customer data for order fulfillment.
5. Cookies & Tracking
Etsy and its related services use cookies and similar technologies for purposes such as site functionality, security, analytics, personalization, and advertising. These technologies are primarily controlled by Etsy rather than SoftProof.
You can manage certain cookie settings through your browser or Etsy’s available privacy settings.
6. Data Retention
I retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill orders, provide customer support, comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and protect my legal rights.
When personal information is no longer required, I will delete or anonymize it where reasonably practicable and permitted by applicable law.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:

* Request correction of inaccurate information

Because SoftProof uses Etsy and third-party fulfillment services such as Printify, personal information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States and other countries where Etsy, Printify, or their service providers operate.
Such transfers are made as necessary to provide Etsy services, fulfill orders, deliver products, provide customer support, or comply with legal obligations, subject to applicable data-protection requirements.
Printify states that it processes merchant end-customer information, including names, email addresses, phone numbers, and shipping addresses, when providing fulfillment services on behalf of merchants.
9. Business Transfers
If SoftProof is sold, merged, reorganized, or otherwise transferred, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction where permitted by applicable law. Notice will be provided where required.
