My name is Sol, father of 2 children and lastly an Industrial Designer.
A little about me.
After finishing university in Greece I won the first prize in a competition for a company that was making license products for Mattel (Barbie)-Disney-Warner Brothers-Coca cola. It was a great experience working with such big-name companies but the salary was minimal. At that age money was the motivator and so coming back to Cyprus, the gold island for buying the house of your dreams, many money opportunities arose. I started working with one of the largest property developers on the island in the architectural field and put my industrial design knowledge aside. The work was great but not fulfilling my heart. Over the years I managed to buy my 3D printer from the Z Corporation USA, a CNC machine and laser. I then realized that had to make a change in my life….The inspiration to do it came the day I found love (my fairy). She made me see life from a different perspective from the heart and not from the pocket. So from then on, I wanted to do something that filled my heart. I had to decide between working 24/7 or playing with my children and creating small things that I love… and so making my decision I created ‘Pixie Dust’. Here you will find the things I love and the results of my fairy’s and children’s inspiration.
