Sol & Glow fue creado como una invitación a reducir la velocidad y hacer una pausa ligera en medio de la vida cotidiana.

Soy Gisella, la mano y el corazón detrás de Sol & Glow. Como latina de primera generación y madre, mi trabajo se basa profundamente en la resiliencia, el crecimiento y la creencia de que, incluso en tiempos de incertidumbre, la luz sigue encontrando su camino. Comencé a crear durante una época en la que muchos en mi comunidad se enfrentaban a la oscuridad, y sentí la llamada a crear piezas que nos recuerden con delicadeza que la luz nunca es singular. Se refleja, se multiplica y se propaga.

Cada atrapasol está elaborado artesanalmente para convertir la luz del sol en un momento de presencia. Inspirados en las plantas, las mañanas tranquilas y el cuidado meditativo de las plantas en crecimiento, mis diseños buscan ofrecer una pausa: una oportunidad para respirar, percibir la luz y reconectar contigo mismo y con tu espacio.

Cada pieza está hecha a mano y presenta variaciones sutiles, lo que hace que cada una sea tan única como la luz que refleja.

I’m Gisella, the hands and heart behind Sol & Glow. As a first-generation Latina and a mother, my work is deeply rooted in resilience, growth, and the belief that even in uncertain times, light continues to find its way through. I began creating during a season when many in my community were facing darkness, and I felt called to make pieces that gently remind us that light is never singular. It reflects, multiplies, and spreads.

Each suncatcher is thoughtfully handcrafted to turn ordinary sunlight into a moment of presence. Inspired by plants, quiet mornings, and the meditative care of growing things, my designs are meant to offer a pause — a chance to breathe, notice the light, and reconnect with yourself and your space.

Every piece is made by hand and carries subtle variations, making each one as unique as the light it reflects.
