Thanks to Covid-19, my steampunk cons have been cancelled/postponed this year. Even so, I have still been able to patronize my favorite vendors (I've made so many purchases from The Blonde Swan, it's crazy) while also taking a chance on other vendors (OMG...the teas from TeaPunk have been great) and Solstice Brews & Blends. So, Solstice Brews & Blends just came up on the recent Vendor Row thread on VirtualSteamCon. They currently have 3 fragrance oils and a variety pack of loose leaf teas available on their Etsy store .I decided to take a chance on the 3 fragrance oils (Victorian Bar, Airship Flight, & Discord's Desire) and they just arrived today. I wanted to offer the quirky blends of loose leaf in tea bag form using quality herbs and a flair for fantasy.

I'll admit it. I got my start dealing with coffee and tea at The Corporate Giant Who Must Not Be Named. I've made more lattes, ground more beans in my four years there than most would in a lifetime. One of the perks though was a lot of exposure to coffee and tea. I learned how to differentiate flavors by different coffee bean and what made rooibos tea different from green. But my learning didn't stop there. I grew fascinating by what went into tea blending and how coffee was roasted.

Hence, Solstice Brews. This is my endeavor to enjoy the wildly crazy tea blends that people find in loose leaf teas, but to make them more accessible in tea bags. I wanted to roast my own blends of coffee because there is nothing in this world like the taste of fresh roasted beans. There's a reason coffee and tea is so often associated with a good book. It's because drinking a cup provides an experience, an escape just like a book will transport you off to magical worlds.
