Just Do It
Just like Nike says.
I started this shop in hopes to share my love for crochet with others. The inspiration for my designs comes from African culture, colors, music, sports, video games, pop culture, and even a few Starbucks drinks.
I entered the world of crochet at age 11 because of a couple of middle school buddies. After losing many hooks and lacking inspiration, I got back into it at the age of 22. Thanks to a few sisters I know in my community, they've inspired me to open this shop.
Why do I call my shop Soulful Stitchery? It's simple; whatever I crochet, I make sure that it comes from the soul. And yeah, soul music plays a part too (😊). But I want people who buy my crochet wearables to feel the love and energy I put into making these pieces. Despite the fact that I have this store, I really crochet because I love the craft. It brings me joy, peace, and tranquility.
