Welcome to Southern Stitch Fabric. We feature gorgeous modern fabric from Riley Blake Designs, Art Gallery, Blend Fabrics, Michael Miller, Robert Kaufman, Cotton + Steel, and more.

I'm a lawyer turned fabric fanatic. After 10 years of practice, my passion for the law faded and my desire to find true passion in my work came to a head along with a desire to spend more time with my children. My love for sewing, quilting and fabric pushed me to explore that old saying..."DO WHAT YOU LOVE AND YOU'LL NEVER WORK A DAY IN YOUR LIFE." So, I took a leap of faith and started Southern Stitch Fabric.

I grew up watching my mother sew and constantly making those matching Mother-Daughter outfits (gotta love the 80's). I still sometimes sew on her (now vintage) Singer sewing machine, especially when I'm making something for my daughter. I hope to pass along my passion for sewing and quilting to my daughter.

When I'm not in the shop, I enjoying spending time with my very supportive husband and 3 kids. Aside from sewing and quilting, my other loves are the outdoors, hiking, skiing, shopping, pedicures (I'll admit it), indie music, and my most favorite...travel.

I am truly blessed to love what I do everyday. I'm obsessed with finding amazing fabric and creating custom sewing and quilting bundles for our customers. Nothing brings me more pleasure than to see what our amazing customers make with our fabric.
