Ready, Set, Sparkle!
I found myself as a mother of three older children, home more often alone than not. I needed to find something to occupy my time other than The Real Housewives, of every city imaginable. LOL :) I started crafting in the evenings to take my mind of the stresses of life, and began to help create event displays at my work on a weekly basis. My creativity was mostly behind closed doors, as I have been in the finance and accounting world for over 20 years which is pretty self explanatory. This passion took me into the world of repurposed goods and vintage art. The older, more beautiful treasures, left behind with a story. These stories intrigue me now, so I find myself listening, picking the items that I feel have more to give. Maybe in a way, its a bit of retail therapy, who am I kidding, it did begin that way. But my ideas, and my affinity for the beauty of the past, and creating beauty in the present, brings me to this website.
