From wherever I am to wherever you are.
The origins of this shop are humble. I've always been a bit crafty, though exactly with what has fluctuated over the years. In the third year of my undergraduate degree, I underwent a health crisis that derailed some of my plans. When I was diagnosed with a severe anxiety disorder and discovered the expenses associated with therapy (yes, even in Canada, even with coverage!), I knew it was time to roll up my sleeves and figure out a way to make the things I loved work for me. Now I run this shop to help subsidize some of the costs associated with ongoing therapy, medication to control my depression, the cost of finishing a degree part-time, and the very occasional latte.
As a non-binary, demisexual queer person with an interest in social justice, lots of my work is themed around pride, intersectional feminism, and cats. Everybody likes cats.
Every purchase you make helps me get one step closer to a more stable space, a better mental health. A stronger and happier person. And while I'll keep my unique outlook, I'll be glad to leave the dark edges behind.
