Yes, gallery framed acrylic artworks are packaged in heavy duty custom-made cardboard boxes and wrapped with layers of bubble wrap and protective materials to ensure the artworks arrive you to in excellent condition.

Unframed/unstretched oil and watercolor paintings come rolled in rigid protective tubes.

I do use recycled packing material to be eco friendly, mostly space fillers.

Australia has strict guidelines on the importation of plant materials. This includes wooden goods, and therefore covers paintings with wood frames.

Unfortunately, this prevents me from shipping framed pieces to Australia.

If the painting you are interested in is already framed/stretched, then I can remove the wooden frame. The canvas will be shipped in roll format.

You will receive a discount in this circumstance.

~4 weeks.

DRYING TIME
The major difference between oil and acrylic paints is the speed of drying. Oil paints usually dry much slower compared to its acrylic counterparts.

The raw materials used in oil paints include minute particles blended in a mixture of a drying substance, a stabilizer and linseed oil. Acrylic paints are made of a certain pigment combined in a mix of mineral spirits and acrylic resin.

LIGHTFASTNESS
Oil paints will fade over time. If you’ve ever seen an old painting, you might notice that they appear yellow;this is because the pigment grows visually duller over time and the oil binder shows through.

Acrylics have excellent lightfastness. They look the same now as they will many years from now in the future.

Standard postal shipping to Italy cannot be tracked easily. Due to the unreliability of Italian postal service, delivery times are unreasonably long. Therefore, I now only ship to Italy via Fedex or UPS.

For any "in stock" item purchased from my shop, I accept returns. You have 30 days from item delivery to ship this item back to me. Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and any loss in value if an item isn't returned in original condition. Since shipping cost is included in the original sales price, the original shipping cost is not refundable.
