Care instructions
Most of my doll clothes are just flat out meant to be HANDLED and used and played with. They have a strong velcro in them and they are generally made of sturdy cottons and knit fabrics. I do however, disclaimer them to be for older children and collectors/adults because of jewelry and hands, etc... Please use common sense and care when giving things to the care of a young child or someone who is not yet responsible enough for small parts or handmade goods. I use a combination of machine and hand sewing in my projects. I would recommend handwashing if you must, or if you are going to put it in the washer anyway... close all velcros and put inside a zipped lingerie bag on a handwash cycle. Air dry. If you have questions... ask!
Gift wrapping and packaging
Unless specified when you order all jewelry and doll clothes come in their own individual zippered bags with an invoice. With new International Shipping it comes in a 9.5"x6.5" Manilla Envelope unless you pick Priority Mail (etc) or message me about another option. If you would like this wrapped as a gift for someone we can set that up for you. Please message me before purchase about what kind of gift wrapping you are looking for and we can discuss price and the best method of shipment beforehand and set up a custom listing for you.
Wholesale availability
At this moment, all sewing is done by Melynda exclusively. I do not sew 8 hours a day, but some days I do. There are not enough doll clothes produced by this store to properly sell to anyone "wholesale" but if you want to order a ridiculous amount of doll clothes from me and are patient enough to wait for them, I'd cut you a deal. lol
How do Custom Orders work?
We will discuss what you are looking for, the customer will provide pictures or drawings to guide me in a garment in 1:6 size. We will work out the details of the order before it is purchased. After payment clears, I begin by buying fabrics and threads and anything else necessary for the custom order, creating a v.1 pattern and cutting it out. I will sew up the v.1 garment to our specifications (sometimes in an alternate color if the fabric is expensive or hard to get). Photos are taken and sent to the customer before shipping. If the customer is satisfied with the final look of the v.1 garment(s) we then ship the garment to the customer. If the garments need any tweaking for fit etc, I then make a v.2
Ready to Ship, Made to Order, Custom Order, what's the difference?
Ready to Ship.
I have the item in hand and ready to go! They usually ship the same day or the next day that the USPS is open.
Made to Order.
When an item is something we've made before but don't have currently finished and ready to send, we make it to order. You can sometimes even get a little "custom" in it depending on what the item is, we have a listing for a Rockabilly dress where you can tell us what colors you want it to be for example. Otherwise, it is mostly just what you see is what will be made for you. It can and will be slightly different based on the nature of handmade goods.
Custom Orders.
You can contact me about having something unique made for your doll(s). See "How do Custom Orders work?" and shop Update for details.
