We are a very, very small business, of 5 hardworking, passionate women. Every single item we sell is handmade by us, in our studio in San Diego, CA.

WE WANT YOU TO LOVE IT:
Our goal is for you to be ecstatic with your purchase.

Please remember that we are hand making each piece of jewelry that you order from us, and that there is quite a difference between a machine made or mass-produced product, and one that is handcrafted. We stamp each letter, one at a time, each piece is completely finished by hand, and we put our hearts into each piece.

HAND STAMPING:
Our process is very different from traditional engraving, which carves a light groove into the metal. Stamping is a more forceful technique, where each individual letter, number and symbol is stamped by hand, one at a time with a hammer and steel stamp. Because our products are not machine-made, reasonable variations are to be expected and contribute to the uniqueness and hand finished quality of each piece.

About

Geeky people making geeky things.

Annie here! I'll tell you a tale of how Spiffing Jewelry came to be, because I'm the one who started this whole shebang.

I started making jewelry because I couldn't afford to buy it. And then I started selling jewelry because people kept asking me where I got my necklaces and such. And everything exploded once I delved into hand-stamped pieces and of course, geekery.

We get a lot of geekery requests. I mean, a LOT. And a lot of them are very good ideas. But if you've ever wondered why, upon browsing our website, you haven't found anything related to Battlestar Galactica, or Twilight, or (insert nerdy passion here), well, I'll tell you why.

We only make things inspired by the things we love.
It's just that simple.

It would be all too easy to google quotes from these shows, or worse, steal quotes that other jewelry makers use that seem to be selling well. But the truth is, we don't want to cash in on things just because they're popular. We're not in this just for a quick buck. We're passionate about the things we make. We want to be excited about our products, our creations.

So while I'm sure your favorite show is truly a great show, until I've watched it and become obsessed, I'm not going to mindlessly crank out what I suppose to be appropriately inspired pieces.

We do take every suggestion to heart, but believe me, our reading/to-watch list is a mile long, and sheesh, people, we still have to make your orders!

But if you do ever get tired of waiting for us to catch on to the next brilliant thing, and can't stand it any longer, we are always happy to make something custom! Just email us, and we'll see what we can do!

And speaking of custom orders, this is 90% of what we do. We specialize in it. We thrive on it. Give us your special quote, song lyric, kids names, wedding date, or your special place, and we will make a 100% one of a kind piece just for you. Just search our shop for the word "custom" and you will see the ridiculous amount of options available to you.

And if you don't see that perfect thing, we can probably still make it happen, just email or convo us!
