Everyone should spin yarn
In 2009 I was exploring different crafts to find what inspired me in different ways. I taught myself to crochet and knit, but stumbled upon spinning your own yarn videos on youtube. I was intrigued! I wanted to learn more about this and try it myself but at the time only expensive equipment was around. With a Marine's budget I saved up to buy a spindle and fiber. My first yarn was the most ugliest yarn I have ever seen, but it was so fun I didn't even care! I was hooked! I wanted to try different types of spinning, but of course had to save to buy the supplies. Finally in 2011 I said this is insane! People were starting to get into dooms day prep and learning old crafts again, but no one had a place to just try them out without spending a ton of money for start up. With that in March of 2011, Spinerosity was born.
The word Spinerosity comes from taking spinning and curiosity and making them into one word. Which is why my shop motto is "Where your spinning curiosity is met". I give people the ability to try something for less than $10, and give them the freedom to hate it and toss it, or fall in love with it like I did.
