5 out of 5 starsSuper high quality!!! I love the design so much :] As a side note, in case you ordered the back of the head, I recommend using a plastic welder in order to attach the two pieces since the back came a little bit larger.
Rowan responded on May 6, 2026
Hi Atlas! Thank you so much for the five stars! I'm thrilled you love the design and that the quality is super high. That makes me so happy to hear! I really appreciate your helpful tip about using a plastic welder for the back piece. That's a great suggestion for other buyers and I will add it to my listing notes. I hope your toony dog build turns out awesome!

Frequently asked questions
What materials do you use for your head bases?
All of my bases are 3D printed using high-strength PLA, depending on the intended use. PLA+ is lightweight, rigid, and ideal for head bases that will be furred or painted.
Each model is printed with around 0.2 mm layer height and 20–30% infill, then reinforced at the stress points such as the jaw hinge area and ear bases. After printing, I carefully sand, prime, and inspect every piece to ensure there are no weak seams or warping. No recycled or brittle filament is ever used — only premium, tested materials from reliable US-based suppliers.
How durable are your 3D-printed skulls and bases?
Durability depends on both the material and the internal print structure. I use high-density infill with strong outer perimeters to ensure the model can handle moderate handling, performance wear, and long-term storage.
All structural components, such as the jaw and forehead, are printed with extra wall thickness, making them far sturdier than typical cosplay props. The bases can handle drops from normal height without cracking, though they are not designed for heavy impact or extreme bending.
To keep them in top shape, avoid leaving your print in cars or near heaters, and always store them in a cool, dry space when not in use.
Do you design the models yourself?
Yes. Every design listed in my shop was originally sculpted and engineered by me, starting from a digital clay sculpt in ZBrush and refined in Blender for structural balance.
Once I’m happy with the base form, I conduct multiple test prints to verify comfort, vision range, and assembly ease. Some models go through three or four prototype cycles before being listed.
I’m also an active furry maker myself, so I test the comfort of each base personally — including jaw clearance, ventilation flow, and fur layering areas — before releasing them publicly.
How do I choose the right size?
To ensure a comfortable fit, please measure:
1️⃣ Around the largest part of your head (above your eyebrows and around the back).
2️⃣ From the top of your head to your chin.
3️⃣ The distance between your temples.
Compare these with the measurements in each listing.
If you’re unsure, send me your numbers and I’ll suggest the best scaling ratio. I also keep digital molds for small (21–22”), medium (23–24”), and large (25–26”) fits — but can adjust between them for half-sizes or custom padding preferences.
How do I assemble or finish the base?
Most bases come as pre-aligned sections that can be glued using 2-part epoxy or cyanoacrylate gel (super glue). I recommend sanding the contact areas before applying adhesive to maximize surface grip.
Once assembled, fill any seam lines with epoxy putty and sand smooth. You can then prime and paint the surface or cover it directly with fur or foam padding.
For makers new to this process, I offer a digital finishing guide with step-by-step instructions and material recommendations. If you’d like that, just leave a note at checkout and I’ll include it free.
Do you ship internationally?
Absolutely. I’ve shipped to fursuit builders and collectors in over 20 countries. I use USPS, UPS, and DHL Express, depending on location and urgency.
International orders may require customs forms or tax payments, which vary by country. I mark all items accurately but at fair declared values to help minimize unnecessary fees. If you’re in Europe, Canada, or Australia, I can recommend the best carrier for reliability and speed.
What if my item arrives damaged or incomplete?
Every order is packed with foam padding, shrink wrap, and rigid corner protection to prevent transit damage. If anything happens, message me within 3 days of delivery with clear photos of the issue.
Depending on the case, I’ll either send replacement parts, offer a partial refund, or provide a free reprint for critical pieces. I also keep digital archives of each order, so if a small part breaks later (like a jaw or ear tip), I can reprint that section without remaking the entire head.
Do you take custom design requests?
Absolutely. I love working on custom creatures, hybrids, or stylized skulls. Custom projects start with a concept sketch or reference sheet. I’ll sculpt a 3D mockup, share preview renders, and revise until you’re happy.
Average turnaround for a fully custom design is 2–4 weeks, depending on complexity. You’ll receive both the finished print and optional digital file for future builds. Custom orders include free scaling adjustments if you need duplicates for group or performance use.
