Hola, somos Casey y Kelsey, el equipo detrás de Spirit Lab. Gestionamos nuestro negocio desde nuestro taller en casa en Filadelfia, donde nuestro espacio suele funcionar también como laboratorio de prototipado para cualquier idea nueva que nos apasione en ese momento.
Spirit Lab nació de nuestra experiencia en festivales y en la comunidad Burning Man. Queríamos encontrar una manera de fusionar nuestras dos habilidades tan diferentes en algo tangible, tendiendo un puente entre lo altamente técnico y lo profundamente intencional.
Yo (Casey) soy fabricante digital, DJ y aficionado a la experimentación. Me encargo de la parte técnica y de fabricación, dedicando mi tiempo a configurar nuestras impresoras 3D, diseñar accesorios de flujo duraderos y operar nuestro láser de CO2 para cortar joyas y medallones intrincados. Kelsey es artista, terapeuta de sonido e instructora de yoga. Ella aporta el alma y la visión estética al laboratorio. Ya sea que estemos diseñando un nuevo medallón o un conjunto de abanicos de flujo, se asegura de que lo que creamos no solo sea técnicamente impecable, sino que también sea agradable al tacto, al sostenerlo y al interactuar con él.
Elegimos el nombre "Spirit Lab" porque describe a la perfección nuestra forma de trabajar. Es un experimento constante. Siempre estamos probando nuevos materiales, como encontrar la flexibilidad ideal para un aro de hula-hoop o el acabado perfecto para un colgante cortado con láser, y nos preguntamos cómo los objetos físicos pueden ayudar a las personas a moverse, jugar y conectar de forma más profunda.
Todo lo que ves en nuestra tienda, desde nuestros medallones distintivos hasta nuestra ropa con iluminación LED, está diseñado, prototipado y ensamblado por nosotros dos. Creamos ropa y arte para vestir que nos gustaría usar nosotros mismos, ya sea en la pista de baile o en un espacio de sanación. Por eso, nos importa muchísimo la durabilidad y cuidar hasta el más mínimo detalle antes de enviar cualquier producto.

Hey there, we’re Casey and Kelsey—the team behind Spirit Lab. We run our business out of our home workshop in Philadelphia, where our space usually doubles as a prototyping lab for whatever new idea we're currently obsessing over.
Spirit Lab was born out of our time spent in the festival and Burner communities. We wanted a way to merge our two very different skill sets into something tangible, bridging the gap between the highly technical and the deeply intentional.
I (Casey) am a digital fabricator, DJ, and tinkerer. I handle the tech and manufacturing side of things, spending my time dialing in our 3D printers, engineering durable flow props, and running our CO2 laser to cut intricate jewelry and medallions. Kelsey is an artist, sound healer, and yoga instructor. She brings the soul and the aesthetic vision to the lab. Whether we're designing a new medallion or a set of flow fans, she makes sure that what we create isn't just technically sound, but actually feels good to wear, hold, and interact with.
We chose the name "Spirit Lab" because it describes exactly how we work. It’s a constant experiment. We are always testing new materials—like finding the exact right flex for a hula hoop or the perfect finish for a laser-cut pendant—and asking ourselves how physical objects can help people move, play, and connect more deeply.
Everything you see in our shop, from our signature medallions to our LED flow gear, is designed, prototyped, and assembled by the two of us. We build gear and wearable art that we actually want to use ourselves, whether that's out on the dance floor or in a healing space. Because of that, we care a whole lot about durability and getting the tiny details right before anything ever ships out.
