Frequently asked questions

How many reeds does one pack make?

This depends on the technique used! I like a decent sized base for my reeds and that uses about 5.25 feet of thread. This will net you about 5-6 reeds per 10 yard pack!

How do you measure 10 yards for each pack?

Since each pack is individually hand wrapped, this is approximated. Each whole batch of thread is wrapped around a large circle at a set diameter. I count the rotations that will yield a minimum of 10 yards while I am wrapping the cards and then add two extra rounds for good measure. I also spot check measure with a ruler every 20 cards or so for quality assurance.
