Yes — the engraving itself is permanent. However, for the longevity of the flatware and to maintain its beauty, we still recommend gentle handwashing whenever possible.

Most listings use a mix of real photography and digital mockups. Lighting can make engravings appear darker in images than in person. Your piece will arrive with a smooth, elegant anneal engraving finished by hand.

Yes — if the image or handwriting is clear and high-contrast, we can usually engrave it. Just send us the file through Etsy messages and we’ll let you know if it’s compatible.
