I have been working with ceramics for 27 years. I design and produce design objects mainly on the wheel with sculptural and slab interventions. The materials I use are stoneware and porcelain, the glazes are created and tested by me. After the Art Institute of Arezzo, in 1997 I found work as an apprentice in an artistic ceramics laboratory. At the same time, I studied independently: I wanted to know, master the technique, know the material. In 2016 I opened my own laboratory, Spore Ceramic Studio. I continue to think that this personal training, free from any superstructure, means that the objects I create are rigorous and essential, but capable of surprising with exuberant exceptions.

Lavoro con la ceramica da 27 anni. Progetto e produco oggetti di design principalmente al tornio con interventi scultorei e a lastra. I materiali che utilizzo sono gres e porcellane, gli smalti sono da me creati e testati. Dopo l’Istituto d'Arte di Arezzo, nel 1997 trovai lavoro come apprendista in un laboratorio di ceramiche artistiche. Parallelamente, studiavo in autonomia: volevo sapere, padroneggiare la tecnica, conoscere la materia. Nel 2016 ho aperto il mio laboratorio, Spore Ceramic Studio. Continuo a pensare che questa formazione personale, libera da ogni sovrastruttura, fa sì che gli oggetti che creo risultino rigorosi ed essenziali, ma capaci di stupire con esuberanti eccezioni.
