Our story
Sprig Woodwork was born from a place of love, memory, and renewal. Founded in 2012 by sisters Amanda Slamm and Mimosa Mack, our journey began as a way to honor our father, a skilled furniture craftsman, who passed away from prostate cancer. Stepping into his workshop was our way of staying close to him, immersing ourselves in the tools and spaces he cherished.
What began as simple projects—a small table and shelves for our mom and her partner—soon evolved into a passion for creating. From crafting cutting boards and kitchen utensils to the pivotal moment when a friend and mentor introduced us to spoon carving, our work has grown into a celebration of craftsmanship and connection.
At Sprig Woodwork, we embrace the tactile beauty of wood, drawing inspiration from the stories that shape us. Each piece we create is a reflection of our journey, rooted in tradition, guided by memory, and shaped by a desire to grow.
