Mi hobby se convirtió en mi carrera hace varios años. Después de aprender a tejer, mi amor por el hilo creció cada vez más. Comencé a hilar y no mucho después comencé a teñir mis propias fibras.
Spun Right Round se convirtió en mi aventura a tiempo completo en 2011 cuando abrí una tienda de ladrillo y mortero en el centro de Nueva York. Traté de hacer malabarismos con el escaparate y la tienda en línea, pero decidí que no podía hacer ambas cosas. My hobby became my career several years ago. After learning how to knit my love for yarn grew more and more. I began spinning and not too long after I began dyeing my own fibers.
Spun Right Round became my full-time adventure in 2011 when I opened a brick and Mortar store in Central New York. I tried to juggle the storefront and the online shop but I decided I couldn't do both. In 2013 I closed the brick and mortar and began dyeing full time from the home studio that is now based in Rochester, NY.
I have a shoot from the hip kind of style, dye lots will vary and each skein is unique. Sometimes the pots yield one of a kind colorways so the shop will always offer surprises! I approach the dye pots as an artist, although I follow recipes the results can be unpredictable. Please keep in mind that each skein is truly unique!
