What metal do you recommend using if you are new to hand-stamping?
Aluminum and pewter metals are great for beginners. They require less striking force to create a complete impression in the metal.
How do I get the best results using metal stamps?
Hold the stamp at the base between your thumb, index, middle, and ring fingers. This grip allows you to rest your ring finger and palm on the stamping surface to provide stability. Keep the stamp flat on your metal as you strike with your hammer.
