How the Project to Map the Galaxy Far Far Away started...
From a young age, I’ve always been captivated by the vast and intricate worlds within the Star Wars galaxy. As a child, I would look over any map or diagram I could find, imagining myself exploring every planet, star system, and hyperspace lane. These maps weren’t just pieces of paper or books to me; they were gateways to adventure, sparking hours of creativity and wonder.
But as I grew older, I realized something: many of the maps available didn’t fully capture the incredible depth and detail of the Star Wars Lore, at least not both Legends and Canon. Some were incomplete, others were outdated, and many missed the little nuances that make this galaxy far, far away so special. That’s when I decided to create my own.
Driven by my childhood passion and a desire to stay true to the Star Wars universe, I began the painstaking process of researching, designing, and crafting maps that weren’t just visually stunning but also accurate to the lore. I dove into the expanded universe, Canon, and every resource I could find, piecing together the galaxy with the care and precision it deserves.
Every map I create is more than just a design: it’s a tribute to the stories that inspired me as a kid and continue to inspire countless fans around the world. It’s my way of giving back to a community that shares the same love for this galaxy. Whether you’re a lifelong fan or new to Star Wars, I hope these maps ignite the same sense of wonder and adventure that first captured my imagination all those years ago.
